Originally released on Fluid Ounce Records way back in 2004, "The Devil Made Me Do It" by Boiler Room Collective gets what we'll call a 21st birthday rework from long-time loop wizard and remix tactician Tom Caruana.

Dialling up the grit and tightening the swing, Caruana gives the track a slick Wu-Tang treatment - think Raekwon or GZA deep cuts reimagined through his MPC. Raw and refined, this remix brings the OG into sharper, moodier focus, with dusty drums and smoked-out soul textures built for today's beat heads.

(Now) Manchester-based and brewing beats since the mid-90s, Tom Caruana is the quiet mastermind behind Tea Sea Records and a string of cult remix records that flipped the internet on its head. His production credits stretch across decades and genres, always rooted in sampled grooves, razor-sharp cuts and musical curiosity.

A 4-track graduate turned MPC veteran, Caruana's catalogue includes production LPs like Brewing Up and Strange Planet, plus a stack of bootleg gold.

Whether reworking classics or crafting his own sonic worlds, Tom's in it for the heads, the crates, and the love of the loop.

His recent LP "Salsa Verde" (Def Pressé Editions) gave him access to the KPM library music archive, from which he used his expertise to create beautiful tracks across genres, in his trademark off-kilter fashion.
